Bag Of Donuts

If your wedding is like most, you’ll be inviting guests of all ages and backgrounds. Bag of Donuts’ speciality is “Superpop”–which means they play the most popular songs from every era. Since 1988, these New Orleans natives have been wowing wedding guests from the grandmother of the bride to the flower girl and everyone in between with their unique take on the music we all know and love.

Inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in 2019, Bag of Donuts brings fun and energy to any wedding. In a city famous for Mardi Gras and costuming, Bag of Donuts doesn’t disappoint. As a bride, you may wear white but everyone will be talking about what the musicians wore when you choose Bag of Donuts to perform at your reception.

Bag of Donuts members include Bobby Hoerner (lead vocals), Jonathan Hoerner (guitar and vocals), Jerry Christopher, Jr. (bass), Kevin George (drums), and Ian Smith and Phil Morin (the horn section). For more than 30 years, New Orleans’ favorite cover band has been performing across the country, playing at clubs, fairs and festivals. Altogether, they have made nine performances at French Quarter Festival and 20 appearances at professional sporting events, including Super Bowl XLIV in Miami.

It’s been said that Bag of Donuts is “New Orlean brass bands, rock and roll, pop radio, country, hip-hop and reggae all rolled into one big, beautiful band of color.” To find out if they’re available for your big day and to watch a video, CLICK HERE.
