Like your love, streetcars are timeless. Here in New Orleans, you can actually charter a streetcar for your wedding, a bachelor/bachelorette party, a shower, or as a way to get your bridal party or guests between the hotel, the church or reception venue on your big day.
Your streetcar can be available an hour before departure time if you wish to decorate it, but all attachments must be made with string (they don’t want anything to damage the streetcar's finish). Food and beverages are also allowed on onboard but alcohol is not permitted.
Charters start at $1,000 per trip, depending on your itinerary. Keep in mind that each time a streetcar leaves the station counts as an individual charter. In other words, a roundtrip will cost you double.
